KLTs Newsletter January 2026

On the 20th November 2025 Ofsted came out to Redbrick to inspect every aspect of our nursery. we were one of the first nurseries in the country to have this carried out under the new guidelines, while we were all very apprehensive and nervous we are over the moon to pass the inspection with 5 areas being expected standard and strong grades in 2 areas , behaviour, attitudes and establishing routines and also Children’s welfare and well-being. below is a link to our full report.

Ofsted Report – Redbrick 2025

We had so much fun at this years Bromsgrove Carnival, we took over 60 staff, children and families along to wave on our World book day themed float. this was the first year we took part after watching from afar for many years, we will definitely be back next year as the smiles across the children’s (and staffs!) faces was priceless. We also loved seeing lots of current and past children in the crowd all giving us a special cheer. Thank you to everybody who was involved and we hope to see you there next year !

For the past few months, Preschool have had Hollie from Young Gloves Karate come in to do a lesson on Monday mornings.

This has been a great hit amongst the children and we have even had some children go home requesting to do Karate outside of nursery!

Thank you Hollie for these amazing lessons, the children love them!

Last week (13/05/2025), Redbrick had a visit from PC Auger!

The children loved sitting in the police van and trying on some of their clothes! Thanks for visiting us.

On Tuesday 6th May, Redbrick held an afternoon tea for parents/carers to come and celebrate VE Day with us.

We had lots of scones and activities on offer, thanks to everyone who was able to make it!

Last week (15/05/2025), Craig headed over to Redbrick to complete a Football class with the children!

They absolutely loved this, I think we may have some mini Ronaldo’s on register!

This morning (20/05/2025), we had a parent/carer breakfast at Shenstone!

We had bacon and sausage sandwiches on offer, along with pastries and cereal bars for a lighter appetite. A great time was had by all!

This morning (16/05/2025), one of our lovely parents brought in their Shetland pony, Pepper, for the children to see!

The children had an opportunity to sit on the horse, feed them some carrots/apples and also give them a stroke.

Thank you again for this opportunity, the children loved it!

We are beyond excited to announce that we have won an award for being one of the top 20 day nurseries in the West Midlands!

We are extremely proud of all of the staff for their continuous hard work and commitment. We would also like to express our gratitude towards our parents for your incessant support! We really would not be where we are today without the team we have around us.
